As part of the year-long celebration of Khenpo Tsültrim Gyamtso Rinpoche’s 80th birthday in 2014, we are highlighting one of the unique features of the lineage that Rinpoche has transmitted to us: our practice of singing “dohas” (Sanskrit for “songs of realization”).
Khenpo Rinpoche’s instructions were to sing these songs in our own native languages and melodies. This CD honors those instructions and features eleven original arrangements of dohas composed by Milarepa, Khenpo Rinpoche, and others.
Proceeds from the sale of this CD will benefit Khenpo Rinpoche’s nunneries and NalandaWest, chosen in 2004 by Khenpo Rinpoche to be the seat of Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche and the Nalandabodhi International sangha.
